File Preparation
The following is a list of Nova's guidelines when submitting files.
Types of Artwork Files:
Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Coreldraw, EPS or PDF files.
We have the latest versions of all software. We do NOT accept Microsoft Publisher. Please make sure that your artwork has at least 1/8" bleed.
Sending in Files:
Files can be sent via email, disk, cd-rom, dvd, USB key or ftp.
If your project was created in QuarkXpress:
1) Open your document and do a "Collect for Output" from the file menu
2) Create a new folder on your desktop
3) Click all of the check boxes on the bottom of the window
4) Once this is completed, compress that folder with either Stuffit or Zip.
5) Send Nova that compressed file
If your project was created in InDesign:
1) Open your document and create a "Package" from the file menu
2) Create a new folder on your desktop
3) Click all of the check boxes on the bottom of the window
4) Once this is completed, compress that folder with either Stuffit or Zip.
5) Send Nova that compressed file
If your project was created in any other program, please make sure that you copy all fonts,
images, graphics, photos and the document file into a folder. Make sure that you compress
that folder with either Stuffit or Zip.
Files not submitted this way can result in missing or broken links.
ALL FILES MUST BE COMPRESSED WHEN SENDING VIA EMAIL OR FTP.
